Default Auto-X tires and rim widths

2014 GT c/w Track Package, and I'm wanting to play in STU autocross regularly and a few track days a year for fun. I'm doing the ER event this September and will probably just run the stock summer Pirellis for a baseline.

Car has been lower 1/1.375" with Eibach Pros and Whiteline PHB. As a daily driver, I'm reluctant to go much further down. Only other planned mods are Konis and adjustable camber plates.

Dropping down to 18s would seem to be the thing to do. Good reviews on BFG rivals and the closest they have to the STU max of 285 is 275. I doubt that I choose to go play in ESP, but might like to have a wider tire width option if practical.

Any suggestions on rim width and offset?

I am planning on getting a set of 18x10 sve drifts with some hankook rs3 285s. Because I have LCAs I'm already in SM so tire size doesn't matter anymore to me. Terry with Vorshlag will be the best to ask on this. Good luck I had a blast at the Aug event and cant want to go again

Any pics of the 18x10 in the front? Do they stick out at all?

Nope, the 10" doesn't stick out on front. We developed that fitment to work on both front are rear with the same offset. Here are 18x10 with 295 tires.

What diameter are those 295s?

They are a 295/35-18 which should be just a touch over 26" tall.

You can run 295's with the stock stuff if you have the right wheels

I have sve drifts. Dont think they will work with 295s unless I can get some negative camber in the front

Rs3's are just about the only option I've seen in 285/35-18 that are "autocross" tires.

I wish I could make that. I have to hold off for the Mustang vs Camaro event the next week.
