Default Dyno Days in DFW

Do shops have dyno days anymore? I remember back about 7 years ago Speedtek in HEB used to have a dyno day once a month and it was around $30 for 2-3 pulls. I'd like to dyno my new car but I can't afford to spend the $75-100 or whatever it is to find out what my new car can do.

TS had on in May I believe and will probably have another one in November. I think it was 40 dollars for two pulls with A/F.

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

LOL, last time I did a pull it was on my 1994 Z28 in 2005. Hit 168 hp with a bad optispark/distributor. Everyone was amazed a Z could do so poorly.

I know TrueStreet did one in May for the local Buick club. I see others advertised here and there. I think TrueStreet does a couple a year.

I've seen a few vendors do this. I shot an email to brenspeed suggesting that they needed to do something like this for their new opening.

Give me an excuse to drive out there and and check them out and get a 2nd opinion on my 422/388.

We do 2 yearly (spring/fall). Date is uncertain yet with the Camaro Vs Mustang event and our travel time for SEMA. But we should be looking to somewhere late October to perhaps mid November.

As far as dynoing goes and cheap, GearHeads Performances in Arlington does 2 or 3 pulls(cant remember now lol) for $35 bucks. Don't recall them giving the A/F/R though. But will let you know where your car stands. Their contact number is 817-465-4327. Good luck, and post your #s
