What's your best $150 purchase?
Unfortunately my budget is slim, but I do have 150 to spend. This is for an almost bone stock 2011 GT Premium. I already have axle backs and tinted windows. I thought about finding a set of lca's but not sure if it would do anything for me right away. Should I keep it until I have enough for something better, like a tune? Thoughts or suggestions? What would you spend it on?

Save some more...then buy lowering springs.

Spend $40 of it at the ER autocross on Sunday and save the rest for a bigger purchase.
Or spend it on a shifter bracket

My car is an auto, so the shifter bracket isn't for me. I for sure want to lower the car and have found springs, slightly used, in my price range. But, won't I also need other components to lower it first?

To do it right, yes.

I'm in the same boat as a broke college kid but I have a fairly stock mustang, how substantial are the effects of the bracket?

Fewer missed shifts into third. It stiffens up that slop box of a shifter the mt-82 has. The stock bracket is very sloppy (it is made of thin galvanized metal, rubber, and zip ties!) and allows the shifter box to shift under load.

BMR lower control arms, or a tune if you already have a handheld tuner.

Lower control arms will help you rid wheel hop. Just go with SR Performance. Worked great for me

brake cooling?
I'd just keep saving. I've done budget builds before and they were always fun but now that I buy quality parts, it's nice not worrying about something breaking every day.
