I haven't noticed mine being any more/less loose than any other auto car I've had. I really don't pay attention. I'll go check on brake and report back.

Don't know about wiggling knobs, but my shifter assembly started making a very annoying sympathetic vibration during acceleration. The dealer replaced the entire assembly inside the tunnel under warranty.

Naw, but they did say the vibration from the exhaust could have done it.

Disconnect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) electrical connector.

Using a suitable tool, carefully pry the selector lever knob shroud down.

With the selector lever knob shroud down, remove the 2 selector lever knob screws.

Remove the selector lever knob and shroud from the selector shaft.
