Default WTB: stock rims and replacement spoiler

So, I actually *love* the rims that are on my 01 base, but they are scratched and just ever so slightly warped due to previous owners hitting curbs and other obstructions. Also, if anyone has a spoiler they wanted to part with, I will totally take it off your hands. I want a matched set of rims.

I have the.. I think they are 15 inch rims on now. Again, I don't know THAT much when it comes to things like that. I'm afraid to upgrade to a larger size or different rim because I don't want to fuck up my speed sensor.

Rim size does not matter. Its the diameter of the tire that would change your speedo.

As I stated in my opening thread, this is my first car, I should also add I am a fairly new driver, and am slowly learning about things as I go along. I can give you my tire size, but that is the extent of my knowledge, lol.

Tires are sized by 3 different numbers....

Width of the tire - Aspect ratio (sidewall) - and Diameter...

Those are what those numbers are you see on the side in that order.

What he means is you can increase the numbers on one and decrease the numbers on the others to make the entire setup the exact same size as it was.

Bigger diameter....15" to 17" you can decrease the aspect ratio so from 60 to 40 (didn't do the math just examples) it should be about the same size.

Now unless you want to buy all new tires with your new rims...you want to keep your rims the same size in diameter....or find rims that come with decent tires.

Instead of the stock V6 wheels try looking at the stock GT wheels. They would look awesome on your car and I bet someone has a used set lying in their garage, cheap. Not sure how off your speedo would be though?

Is your trunk scratched? Your year car looks better without a spoiler. They sell plugs for the holes if you have them.
