Default off road x pipe with cat delete

Installing off road x pipe with cat delete should I get a new tune from Bama or will the 93 octane tune be enough. I have BBK headers and Cold air intake and Flowmaster mufflers running it with 93 octane race tune. I have tunes for life from Bama so it won't cost any extra but I will have to wait until they email it.

You will need to retune for the cat deletes.

Technically all a new tune is supposed to do it turn the O2 sensors off. The new tune I got from Bama (I know, I know) was a little more aggressive. Mine ran fine without the tune but the check engine light comes on. Thinking about getting in line for a dyno tune from HPP.

I love the cat delete smell. Reminds me of when I was a kid and all the mustangs smelled like that. Plus driving under bridges or parking garages...Damn!

If you are riding around with a check engine light, then I would def have a reflash or go get a real tune.

I also believe you can turn the rear o2s off the sct tuner under adjustments

Most places are in the neighborhood of $400. HPP is really popular right now and I think there is a pretty long waiting list. Have to call and find out. Or you can always go to True Street they have a bad rep lately...some of it is justified but tuning a 5.0 with basic bolt-ons shouldnt be that big of a job. I know a guy that got his done at Dallas Mustang and he was happy with it.

I'm running the bama w/o cat tune but when I had the older tune I got the check engine light and the code was that the O2 sensors were bad...biggest difference that I could tell is that with the cats off and the old tune I get close to 30 mpg highway and with the new tune I get 22 so they changed more than just turning the O2 sensors off.
