Default Camless engine (Youtube)

Interesting video... Imagine retrofitting one of these down the road and getting 30% more torque and fuel efficiency out of your mustang. That is if it works like they said.

Was this the actuator powered motor?

If so, that thing is pretty damn awesome.

Amazing technology for sure. Think of the options on tuning. A "cam" upgrade would be all electronic. And the compressed air would serve as a boost that doesn't generate heat or have a drain on the motor. Exciting when you think about it

I think it is a standard engine, just minus the cam-shaft, chain and supporting mechanics. The valves are timed and controlled using electronics and compressed air.

Sorry, misunderstood what you had said... was multi-tasking when i read it. Took it as the whole engine was air powered

Pretty amazing what they are doing nowadays. Can't imagine the endless possibilities of an engine like this. Very cool.

Very cool. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they do with this technology.
