My Nitto drag radials were worn out (aren't they always?) and after 60k miles, the front NT555ZRs were getting cracks in them. Time for fresh shoes!

Hankook Ventus R-S3 in 265/35-20 and 305/35-20

While everything was apart, I had the wheels refinished too.

I'm happy so far. They are much quieter and ride better than the Nittos. And I may be crazy but these seem to have even more straightline grip than the DRs ever did. Yes, I took the stickers off before driving it.

Any power mods yet?

Nope. Daily drivers don't need power.

Then why didn't you just buy a Versa or Prius? Shame on you.

LOL. Shame? I bought the car that does everything I want - it stops, turns, and goes better than 95% of the cars on the road, has cold a/c, turns heads everywhere, and is a blast to drive. I don't feel shame.

Shame is that feeling your inferiority complex gives you.

It was a joke, relax. Your comment completely contradicted itself, so I sarcastically replied to it. You said you don't need power for a daily, but here you are above right here saying it stops, turns and goes better than 95%, therefor admitting a car with power is better/more fun to have. You're a gearhead, you should be thinking "too much horsepower is almost enough".

Not really. I like working on cars in general, but not on my daily driver. And I don't want to get on the tune merry-go-round every time I bolt something new to it.
