It can stand up to the temps, but hydrodipping would work better on that application. The vinyl wouldn't stick well to the textured surface, but would work as an accent in the indented areas on each side.

They are pre-cut vinyl pieces that stick to your current hood vents. You don't have to remove your vents or anything else.
