Default Hello Guys!

I'm Nick, living in the DFW area towards Grapevine. I was racing a 5-0 on 1709 last night (you'll know the road if it was you) who referred me to this site. I own a silver E46 M3 and enjoy autocross. He said you guys host a couple of autocross events and I'd love to come out to them. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you guys around.

I don't. It was 8 PM at the time of these drags. Full manual with full suspension from what he told me. It looks similar to Midnight's, but I can't be sure because of the time of day. The guy was married as well.

Welcome!!

Not to sound like a prick, but exactly how did you determine your opponent was married while racing him? Tell me you didn't hit on him?

smart place to race.

45 mph and 2 Police stations within 7 miles of each other, fuq it lets race.

Oh and welcome.

Negative.

We exchanged words about our cars at the various stop lights before our drags and he mentioned that he had a wife as I had my girl in the car at the time. He made some comment along the lines of "I'm glad you put up with his crap," in a joking fashion.

The shenanigans continued down 1709 starting near the town center all the way through the access roads of 114 eastbound. What we deduced from the races is that I ever so slightly pull first gear and maybe a little second, but that whatever he did to that 5-0 was wayyyy too much for an M3.

On the bright side, we both had radar detectors, not that it would help much at those speeds.

It was me. lol He hit on me and I had to tell him to knock it off because I was married. haha No his wife/gf was in the car and I told her thanks for putting up with our shenanigans.

It was a sexy M3. Sounded good.

We are doing an auto x event next weekend however weather is looking pretty rough.

Welcome to the board. Post photos and mods.

PS...the only reason you pulled a little in 1st and 2nd was because I had no traction. lol

I about passed him sideways on the 2nd run. haha

I'll do so tomorrow; it's already getting dark and I was busy running errands today.
