Absolutely. You can have a ton of power, but if you can't put it down it's useless. Many times we've seen a car with less power take out a bigger powered car cuz it hooks like it should while the other guy blows the tires off. Spinning ain't winning!

Happened to me alot in the day till I bought my drag pack.

pulling the wheels from a 50 roll helped win a lot more than painting the freeway with Nittos. Tires are a first swap in these bigger hp cars. If I had a new 5.0 Id likely order wheels and tires for it the week I brought it home. Huuuuuge inprivrment in performance.
