I cut my teeth on turbo shitboxes a thousand years ago, so save the crap for someone else.
Real Racecars and real racers? Do enlighten me.

I had a friend trying to beat my time fly off the road and land in a huge tree. Had to careflight him out and get a crane to get his car out which was completely totaled.

Im old and all, but I can figure out how to apply brakes apex turn and throttle out...

Did you also walk to school in the snow uphill both ways...lol I keed I keed

My dad's boss used to take the restored cars out to Monterrey and run them on LS, having several of them driven by Phil Hill, Stirling Moss, and John Morton. One of my dad's good friends is an instructor at Team Texas at TMS.

To make it relevant to this conversation, that '80 Mustang hatchback with all '86 SVO running gear was a car I bought from Terry Fair (the guy that owns and operates Vorshlag) about 20 years ago. However, neither one of us knew shit back then, and only one of us does now - and it's not me.

I've done many solo II (autocross) events and I held my own, although that was a long time ago. Point is, the drivers setting TToD were all good drivers, regardless of the track. If you can brake, shift, and steer well when doing "160s", then you can definitely drive in a straight line.

I'll step back into the shadows now, and let you real drivers show us how it's supposed to be done.

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

I honestly dont know. Ive never tried it competitively so I dont know how I would stack up. Ive been to alot of tracks but posting times doesnt mean anything. I am really good at getting into a full tuck at 200+ mph and pretty good at dragging my knee around the pavement. Lol

This video makes it seem louder than it is in person, since the exhaust is aimed right at the camera, but you get the idea.
