Default track times

What kind of times have you guys been running in completely stock cars? I'm thinking about heading to the track Fri and would like some averages to compare with. Car is bone stock with under 200 miles on it. 3.73s, 19s, track pack, standard trans.

i tried both ways, the traction control on would bog it down and with it off the wheels would spin. it was my first time at the track...ever...i hope for lots more practice when i get home!

I ran a 8.3 at 88 with a 2.0 60ft with the whole system turned off. Lends itself to be a high 12 low 13. 2013 GT. M6 3.73 car.

Hummmmm, my car feels quicker than the mph you are posting. It feels more in line with my old fox body with the 347. It ran 12.1s on motor and trapped 112 on street tires. Just using the seat of the pants feel, I'm thinking it should run low 12s on street tires.

Did your 347 have 235 tires on it? I think Danny ran a low 8 with the stock tires.

They were small tires. Danny went low 8s you say. Wonder what gears his has?

Either 3.31's or 3.73's. I can't remember what he has.

He said his first pass in the car was a 8.06 and then with sport lines and 20" DR he ran a 7.96

My car is '12 M6, 3.73, Brembo GT. The first pass ever was an 8.09. With the new engine, it's been 1.845 - 7.92/90.01 - 12.24/114.5. All passes have been with the same setup, a stock GT with Sportlines and 20" drag radials.

I'm surprised your car feels that fast to you Christian. I was worried my car wouldn't even break into the 12s, it really felt slow to me. These cars do have a nice top end charge.

I think there are a few people heading to Ennis on Friday night, why don't you bring the car out for a few passes?

I dunno, sometime after work. I'm not planning to run unless the weather is really good. I'm planning to help a couple of folks work on their ET. My uncle is bringing out his Boss 302 LS.

I'm going. I want to watch my little Nic go down the big boy track.
