Default Loud brake squeak

Just recently my rear brakes are squeaking super loud, but only when it hits a certain spot on the rotor, and brakes barely applied.

Anyone else have this prob?

I'm going to scuff up the rotors with die grinder and clean pads and hardware, hopefully that fixes it

Any trapped debris between the pad / rotor? We've been getting a lot of weather something might have kicked up in there and is grinding funny on the rotor. Sounds like what you are intending on doing is a good first approach.
