also, I would expect the PCM program to work on any 5.0L mustang....(I haven't confirmed) but its the same PCM....same engine....same everything, so I don't foresee why it would not work.

I think the trackey was more used because they built a race engine and then had to regulate it down for emissions and drivability. So the Trackey is in turn, Ford's attempt of saying....hey, we made a race car....but the government has us by the balls....so take out those restrictor plates on your side exhaust (because there are already gaskets in there for you once you take out the restrictor plate), and then program your trackey.

apparently its also been proven that the trackey doesn't give you anymore horsepower. I haven't seen any of the dyno test results, but that's what I heard. But I can tell you it definitely gives you better throttle response and a lot more engine braking.
