Dallas Raceway is opening the concession stand for us on Sunday, so you can pick up lunch there.

Did you guys still want to do a Mustang (M) class? I can create it on the timing laptop and switch you over. Let me know what all car numbers need to be in the class. Or you can stay in gen pop (Class 3).

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are watching the weather for the weekend. Our policy is to not cancel events solely because of rain or cold weather. However, we will cancel an event because of expected ice, sleet, or snow. Based on current forecasts, it will be cold with a chance of rain, but nothing freezing until Sunday night. We will continue to monitor the forecast and let you know if anything changes. If you wish to cancel your registration, then refunds are available as long as the cancellation occurs before registration officially closes at 1 PM on Saturday. Please contact us if you elect to cancel so we can issue the refund.

Seems like it will be a good event for anyone looking to learn how to drift.

I'm too much of a wuss for that. I admit it. It's the downside of having expensive rims. I could just see me trying to do something like that and fucking up a rim on curb.

It's held in the open 4 acre parking lot. Haha

No curbs in sight. Just cones and people.

If the event gets cancelled can the entry fee be transfered to next year?

Sorry folks, but the potential weather is just too dangerous, so I have to cancel our 11/24 NTAXS autocross.

Even if the forecast for the site is not freezing rain/sleet/snow, too much of the surrounding area might see freezing conditions and I do not want people trying to drive home in it Sunday afternoon.

We will refund everyone’s entry and I will work with the site and insurance company to carry over our paid fees to a future event. Because of the remaining events for the season (PCA Time Trials and ECR Toy Run) and the upcoming holidays, it would be too hard to squeeze in a replacement, so we will just have a five-event season this year.

I am working on arranging our annual Winter Autocross the last weekend of January. We hope to see you all then.

Sucks but definitely the best idea. I hope to be there in January, maybe even with good tires

Im in the same boat with tires. Was driving around last night in the rain wondering how the hell I was going to be fast at an autoX. Tires have completely lost all wet grip .

Maybe my car will be ready by the next opportunity! Sorry to hear about the weather but obviously safety is priority.
