Default Sound tube delete

I decoded to take off my sound tube today. Is it ok to leave that hole in the firewall open or do i need to find something to plug it?

I'd find a plug. No sense in letting fumes and bugs have an easy way in. The plug that came with the JLT didn't fit worth a damn, had to silicone it to keep it in place.

Firewall plugs can be found at oreillys or auto zone ask for a ford master cylinder gasket. It should fit in the hole for the sound tube.

Well, with my setup, you can no longer hear anything from the tube anyway, so why not clean up under the hood a bit?
