Default Oil lab results

I was using Amsoil 5w20 6k miles.

I still need to send mine off. I've had it sitting in the sample bottle for like a month now lol.

My results showed high silicon ppm. They said it could be due to abrasives like dirty air filter or any rtv gasket material. Could also be that these engines when built have high silicon so they told me to retest in another 3500.

Just thew mine in the mail. Mine was on 10k miles 10w30. We shall see what it reveals.

Well I was thinking of comparing other peoples cars and oils. I know it's hard to see but in the pic it shows fuel, soot, water dilution as well. I talked to Amsoil and they said silicon ppm could be actual silicone rtv. And makes sense because I recently had a new timing cover put on and that uses rtv as a gasket.
