Does the 2.3 need machining on the Z too? Did you not do full cooling mods? (HX, tank etc)

Yeah, we actually went above and beyond on that one. Built a 1+ gallon blower expansion reservoir, upgraded Katech HX. The factory pump on a ZR1 is boss, it moves more water then my upgraded pump on my V did.

No with the Z's you just order the LPE snout, with a quick change upper pulley

Oh very nice! That will be nice for those long pulls.

I've been reading about the HX and pumps. There seems to be a lot of conflicting information on performance of different exchangers. I chose the Katech as well, though some people seem to think it blocks too much of the radiator for driving in traffic but its really good for racing.
