Default Grapvine ford

Cant say enough good about this dealers service center.. Dropped my car off on the 11th for "intermittent check engine / leaking rear axle / fucked tranny"

Dealt with Fernando Sanchez who was extremely helpful, answered all questions asked, and kept me up to date almost daily.

End result - tsb for the code being thrown, rear diff over filled form factory/ torn apart to check for damage/ re-fill "said they see it a lot with 13/14's". Tranny-- 2nd took a shit and took the bearings and misc related parts with it. Picked it up tonight and its smooth, no more clunky shifts aka happy guy.

I've dealt with some other local ford dealers and wouldn't even think about posting anything positive..

The only thing I know about them is a friend of mine works there.

If anybody local needs to buy anything go to Josh @ Grapevine Ford!

When you say clunky shifts what does that mean jng? Just got a 2014 MT and feel like the shifts aren't as smooth switching gears as when I first got in it.
But it might just be me getting the feel for the trans more. I will have to lurk on these forums in my free time more so that I can learn all the ins and outs of possible issues to watch-out for.

Clunky meaning basically slamming into gear/intermittent grind/accompanied with 1-5 whine.

Josh sold me my '12, and I bet he sold 1 out of every 3 or 4 sold that year. Shame Skip moved away, really liked him.

I haven't had quite the best of experience yet. I took mine in for a creaking noise I've had since day one from what seems like under the rear windshield area, near the rear speakers. They said they can't warranty it unless there is a known defect (which there wasn't) so they were wanting to charge a shit ton of money just to take it apart to try and find it. I said hell no and forget it. They tried to blame my aftermarket exhaust for the problem, which it wasn't and it was happening for thousands of miles before I had my Borlas, which I told them but they didn't seem to give 2 shits.

While it was in there I also wanted them to fix my rattling re-view mirror and steering wheel buttons which they never got to because they had my car for 3 days but never even began to look at until the last day after of which I told them forget it and I came to pick it up.

I talked to the service manager too and he gave me the same BS run around.

My name is Jeff Stone, Internet Manager with Grapevine Ford, and I really felt the need to chime in here. Even though Skip is gone to *shudder* Chevy, we are still going strong up here at Grapevine Ford. We have an all-new 20 million dollar facility next to our old location, and we still have plenty of Mustang specialists and enthusiasts, including myself. We have more inventory than ever, and are still cutting out the same great deals! If any of you ever need assistance with the purchasing or selling of a Mustang, please don't hesitate to contact me at 817-481-3531 ext. 48131.

HAHAHAH the shit dealers tell people. Cant fix unless its a know defect. How the hell is it going to be known if nobody figures out how to fix it! If the car has a noise or rattle that is a defect and should be covered by warranty. The dealer just makes shit up so they don't have to waste time on rattles.

Ya I was really disappointed I just up and left. I may go back just because of the location and ease but i'm not backing down from more BS excuses.
