Cool thread. I love dogs. We have one, it's my wife dog she got 10 years ago when she graduated college. It's a longhair miniature Dachshund.

Midnight - Does your mom ever get puppies in her rescue? I've got a 3 year old daughter here at home so if we got another dog it would have to be a puppy that would have to be able to learn to get along with a kid. An older dog typically doesn't do that very well.

My dogs got stolen out of my backyard last week. I had one for 9 years since she was a pup and another one for 5 years and had her since she was a pup.

Dude, I would be hunting down the mother f-er that took my dogs and would kill him slowly with a dull pocket knife. Absolute scum.

On a bright note, I have had 3 dachsaunds, one is still alive, a black lab, and australian sheperd, but don't have pics handy right now.

My girlfriend and I also have a Yorkie, technically hers though. He thinks he owns the world...

Amen. The dog is part of the family and family is something you don't mess with.

All my animals are named after cars, go figure
Here is my oldest Dakota, a five year old rhodesian ridgeback mix

Bullitt, 5 year old Black lab on game day

Sky, 1 year old dachshund

Sky hanging out at TopGolf with us

and Denali, our Great Dane that we have been fostering for the past 4 months. now looking to give him to a good home. if your interested or know someone that might be let me know. We are planning on having kids soon and 4 dogs and kids would be a little much. would be great for someone without kids, or kids are already grown

drinking from his favorite "water bowl"

Im 5'11" for comparison

and some of all them together
