Your favorite watering holes
I'm still relatively new to the area, and still discovering new places. Found and place called the Doublewide last night down deep ellum way. Had a blast! It's kickass kind of dive bar feel, but there was a good amount of people there. I will be visiting there in the future.
What's your favorite watering hole?

If you are in the Deep Ellum area, check out Black Swan. Best bar service I have ever had hands down. It's a smaller place and a bit higher than average in pricing but you will soon forget that. The owner works the bar and he can make a crazy awesome drink. He asks for your name if he hasn't seen you in there before, shakes your hand and will NOT forget your name. I was very impressed and go there everytime I am in the area.
Aside from that I love Flying Saucer, there is one in FTW and Addison. Great place to get any kind of beer you can think of.

I might have a beer or two maybe two or three times a year and it's always at home usually when grilling some food for a family event or yardwork.

The lady and I frequent Landon Winery for $5 tastings or a favorite bottle. I have plans to try out "The Pub" downtown McKinney soon. I hear they have a monster beer menu! I'm about 4 blocks away and still haven't made it there yet.
Other then that its Roadhouse, game days, UFC nights, or our weekly shop cookouts etc.
