Default Bama Tune??

Hey guys, just purchased a black 2012 6m a few days ago!!! I have a question about the Bama tune that is on it. The car did not come with a hand held tuner and the tune is still on the car. When I go get the car tuned or get a hand held my self, will there be any issues switching tunes? Thanks

I have never dealt with this but I imagine you would have to call sct to get a recovery tune file after providing your vin and computer code. Your stock tune is still on the previous owner's device.

You will most likely have to take it to the dealership to have it reflashed to stock, then buy your own handheld tuner to get a tune of your choice.

I think SCT can help track down a stock file for your car. I've heard of them doing that for other people. I may be mistaken though.

Ok, thanks for the help! I'll give SCT a call and go from there. It runs really good with this tune right now, but just wanted to know for the future.
