I also keep it reasonable time wise meaning I don't do anything that will take up the whole weekend where she is just stuck with the kids all the time. I get time for car stuff, she gets time to do stuff she wants to do.

Also, taking an interest in her hobbies taking part in it goes a long way as well. My wife really enjoys yardwork and home projects. I absolutely hated yardwork for many years, but came to appreciate it because it makes her happy and that is all that really matters.

I have had some that didn't care. Even one who paid for a couple things I did to my car. The last one tolerated it at the beginning, got a little more serious and she expected me to get over it. Ended up dumping her, then she asked for a ride in the car at speed on a track. Now she understands...can't win them all.

My girl daily drives a big cammed C5Z on sticky tires. Has also had a car faster than most on the board. I don't see cars becoming an issue lol

How does she like driving that as a daily with the big cam in it? Cause when I get rid of my car my plan is an ls3 vette with a big cam and exhaust and just drive it.

My wife supports my hobby, but I do run it by her when I am going to go out without her. Mostly my love for beer tends to keep me home more than she does lol

I think putting my wife in a CTSV would be a good idea

If we can cover political views and child rearing, I think this thread will check all the boxes!

Next we tackle the growing pandemic of genital herpes and irritable bowel syndrome within the forum. Studies show that 99.99999% of people who own a ls engine/car suffer from these diseases. Could there be a connection between the growing ls population in the forum and this lethal pandemic? Find out tomorrow on DFW5.0s your number one mustang/news forum.

Henry Ford dies and goes to Heaven.

At the gate, St Peter tells Henry Ford: "Well, you've been such a good guy, invented the car, changed the world. As a reward you can hang out with anybody in Heaven of your choice."

So Henry Ford thinks about it and says: "I would like to hang out with God himself?"

So St Peter takes him directly to God's thrown and Henry Ford starts by saying: "God, I don't want to sound biased, but you have some major design flaws in Your invention, the Woman.
1. There's too much front end protrusion
2. It chatters at high speeds
3. The rear end wobbles too much
4. The intake is too close to the exhaust."

"HMMMM" says God and goes over to the Celestial Super Computer, types in a few key strokes, and waits for the results.'

He then turns to Henry Ford and says; "It may be that My invention is flawed, but according to the stellar computer more men are riding My invention then yours".
