Pistons don't just give up. A rod might, but a piston is either a bad tune/gas.

Well, yeah they can. Had a skirt break on one once. Locked up the engine and scored the wall pretty good. Bad engineering on Ford's part. Of course it was in an '82 Escort sooooo...

We aren't real sure what happened. Either to much boost or defective pistons. Because everything else looks great
