Default New member. Pics

I was referred from svtp and looking forward to makin it out to a few local meets. I made not have a 11+ 5.0 but it gets the job done. I am in progress of shaving this car from the grave. It's almost there.

Little back story on how I got the car. Sold my 02 wrx and with the profit I bought a 94 z28 for 1600. Put a few bucks into it and traded for a 01 silverado 2500hd lifted,wheels. Audio. And traded that a month later for the mustang.

When I got it, I knew nothing about mustangs and was told it was cam'd and had a cobra motor. Within 3 minutes of signing titles over I had a plug blow out and limped it home 3 hours away. Simple fix and clutch went out a week later then month or so had the intake manifold go. After some work this is where I'm at.

Thanks. It's came along way since I've got it a little over a year ago.

Reason for the new motor:





New set up started:











I still need to work on suspension, body work and repaint the car.

Performance wise I plan on get trick flow heads with mhs stage 4 blower cams
Accufab 78mm tb/p combo and a better flowing intake manifold.

I still need to delete the pprv which is holding me back power wide with current set up.

Zemog,

Was it a vert with 20k miles from burners? Then it was me.

Right now I'm only at 460. The pprv needs to be deleted since its causes the pumps to max out I guess. I bought the pprv delete kit last night and will get that done and get a free retune an I should hit 540-560 according to the tuner. But I've still got stock heads,image manifold, and tb/p so that will restrict me a lot.

Yeah that was mine, that car is in granbury now. Sounds like your car should be putting down some decent power once you get all of that done and sorted out.

Damn oil field keeps me from working on it. But when I get back in a few weeks, I'll be in te marking for a ls2 gto as a daily and turn the Gt into a full track car so that will be fun
