Default I really like the new MMD 551C wheels

The new MMD 551C wheels from American Muscle look nice to me. They remind me of the Vossen 5 spoke wheels except the spokes aren't as thick...which I like. But they don't come in 20x9 or 20x9.5. American Muscle should be ashamed of continuously creating wheels with 8.5 inch widths! I might grab these if they create a 9 inch front wheel and put them on sale around Christmas

I agree with people continously offering a stagger setup with a 8.5" front wheel. It irritates me. Just give me a 9.5/10.5 stagger and I'll be happy. I don't want to feel like I'm turning on skates.

And they wonder why good looking wheel designs don't sell even though they are at a good price point. It's because nobody wants those damn sizes. This platform as come and gone...but they still don't get it. We want as much traction as possible with these cars.

they give you plenty of rear rim for traction, but I want to be able to actually turn once I catch traction....not enhance the already present understeer and just mow through a corner.

They tend to be really conservative on size and offset over at AM :/

Good looking wheels, though!!

Yep! Which makes me believe they might have the same manufacturer of their in house brands. It's probably a Chinese resource.

Most definitely. They could add an inch or inch and a half width to their wheels easily. I'm just wondering why they don't.

I had my gf (that is Chinese) email someone on alibaba, in Chinese just so I didn't have to converse with someone in broken English, because I was curious if I could have some wheels made. They can make whatever is requested as long as a picture and dimensions are provided of the style of wheel.

Depends on the seller. We didn't really talk price, but their base prices are usually listed within their ad.

Definitely nice, just wish they were made in 18s and cheaper. Don't see why the $100 premium over the other AM wheels other than being MMD "brand"

Probably because they are the higher end knock off (vossen reps, right?) and they think they can get more.

I won't buy anymore wheels from them until they can offer 11 inch widths on all diameters for s197's.

I won't ever buy wheels unless they offer a square fitment in whatever by 10"

Could you not just buy all 10" wheels as singles? Or is the offset for the 10" wheels offered not good for the front at all?
