Default Paxton Install and New Rims

I FINALLY got the Paxton installed and running on a base tune while working with Shaun to log and get it finished.

I got everything done and it ran like shit...so it sat for a couple of days while we went out of town. on the drive out of town a sudden thought to check the MAF connection so my buddy checked it and it was out. he plugged it in and it was SMOOOOOOOTH. he put the front end back together so all i had to do when i got home was install the BAP. did that last night and its running good. a few more logging sessions and it should be running like a champ. it does have a constant chirping noise so im thinking thats how the supercharger sounds...or the belt needs to be tightened...so i'll figure that out hopefully.

i also got some new FR500 rims/tires from a guy on svtp.com so i took a few pics. they are 20x10 and 20x8.5 wrapped in 315 and 255 Nitto NT05s.

The two table tops were cleaned off completely for the parts so here is everything i had to install

Here is everything taken off, ready to put the paxton on

here is the intercooler installed

Side shot of the new wheels

They dont stick out far at all do they

Rear shot of the tires...the 315s looks nice!!

Looks nice!

Maybe there's something I don't know about NT05s, but it sure looks like the rear wheels need to be swapped side-to-side.

nice to meet you Don, you have a very nice looking ride.

Tires are on right so that's good.

i did a 4th gear 2k-6k RPM run on the highway earlier and right around 4k RPM, the tires broke loose!! very sweet.

here are some pictures of the finished product.

well...i got the BAP hooked up according to the directions and it still wasnt working. Shaun said i was running out of fuel above 6k RPMs so i called Steve at BBR and sent him a picture of my set up. i didnt get the universal bap like i thought i was getting, i got the boost reference bap. so i'll order the universal and install it when i get home in May, should fix my issues.

the damn wrench light came on a few times to so ive been reading up on that and i'll check the throttle body and connector, hopefully that fixes it. i'll check the maf also to see if there is any air coming from the hole i put it in...i would think not since its a metal pipe and i tightened it down but you never know.
