Default One step closer to finished exhaust

MRT After-cat H-pipe. 3", with Boss side pipes (those will come later when I can afford them...)

Hopefully it will go in the next week or two. Waiting for block off plates to arrive in the mail.

[Sorry for the big picture]

I'd recommend these Kooks side pipes over the boss side pipes.

Mostly because they sound pretty good in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KyvC6OjMvo

Those are definitely being considered. Boss side pipes alone are $440 from Ford, plus shipping, so I might as well go after those. I can still use the restrictor plates I got with those I think. We shall see. Side pipes are the next mod.

What are the advantages to the boss side pipes other than a different sound?

Different sound. Haha

Gives it a more burbly V8 rumble.

It's super nice. Some of the best welds I've seen on a mid pipe for these cars.

Nope. Cats have been gone for about 2 months or so.

Got them cut out and had some Dynomax race bullets welded in their place. If you are making it out to the cruise photoshoot tomorrow, you can hear it. They cut out a lot of the rasp the factory resonators still let through, but it kept the volume

Can't see the picture here at work but, guessing you are still going to have a rear exit exhaust too Derek?

Yeah, it's just a 3" aftermarket version of the Boss' midpipe.
