Sounds like a plan.

It makes for a fun morning/afternoon. Some fun driving in the country twisty backroads. At the end of first leg stop for lunch then you either can go straight down 75 to head back home or go back and do the route again in reverse order. Its a good time.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just bump this one.

Any other roads or areas with some nice roads for a drive? And not just long straights but some decent curves and scenery.

May have to try your route, I used to head out East on Bethany and then up some of the backroads to the McKinney airport but it wasn't a real long route. May try yours after I get back from Australia..

Speaking of, nothing beats running with 2 or 3 buddies up the side of a mountain with no guardrails. In Australia I lived at the bottom of said mountain, any day, any time I could just head on up there... god I miss those damn roads!

Take a ride on the 635/820 loop around the entire DFW metroplex.

Good for a couple of hours, plenty of opportunity for some spirited driving, and best if you do it early on a Sunday when most all the rowdy folks are sleeping off a drunk or in jail, and all the good 9 to fivers are in Church.

Wow..horrible idea. lol. The point of going cruising it to enjoy driving on a nice day in a cool car. Who in their right mind would like to go for a drive on one of the loops on purpose, for fun!?

As part of some sort of cruise/activity on Forest this Sat, my neighbor is cackling his front engine nostalgia drag rail "Blown Inheritance". No nit nightro, but an injected and blown alcohol big block with open zoomies sounds pretty damn good.

Cackle is off due to a funeral in the vintage race bunch, but he is getting the C1 vette out. If you see a sea foam green and white vette, make sure you harass him.
