Speaking as someone who's ridden in a '12 with a 4" cowl, unless you're 8 feet tall and sit extremely tall in the seat, you won't be able to see anything with a hood that tall.

I love my cobra R 3" hood. I think it's perfect. Not to small or too large of a cowl.

A 6" cowl hood - lol! That is going to look pretty funny, especially if you're running 13s. Are you trying to fit an 800+ci Sonny Leonard mountain motor in it?

That was actually my first thought. Some old Bob Glidden thing with a sheetmetal tunnel ram and twin Dominators. Actually, that wouldn't be bad, if nothing else than the pure shock factor when you lifted the hood.

I think I saw 4" ones at the late model restoration or American muscle...

I'm with Jeff, I think a 3" would be perfect. Anything bigger is just a nuisance.

A cowl that big just looks ridiculous imo. Unless it is needed to clear something

A 6" cowl hood to me is like what you would see if you took the Forza cowl hood from Forza 4 and put it on a car in real life.
