Default My 2013 SG 5.0 Build/Update Thread

I guess I'll join the build thread club. I bought my 2013 in July. It is a 401A, Brembo Car, Comfort Package, M6 with 3.73's. I love it so far. Here are the photos I took a couple weeks after I bought it. I will update the thread as I add some things! Plans are suspension mods, BMR Panhard, Steeda LCR's with relo bracket. H&R Racing Springs. Hoping to get a Vossen Wheel next year or sooner if a deal works out for me. I'll also be putting on a 2013 GT500 rear valance and 2013 GT500 axlebacks hopefully next week. Thanks for viewing.

First Exterior Mod! I think I like it. Subtle but still pops a little.

Soon my friends...

I can give part numbers out to people who want to save a little money. Although LateModel was extremely helpful and if you don't have a 2013 GT500 axleback I'd say use their kit. If you come across an axleback I can help give part numbers and quantities for the valance kit.

Haha yeah I was just saying that as a joke. In the Mustang world it's hard to be different. It was really easy. Took me about 4 hours by myself. I pulled the wheels, bumper and tails. Trimmed the bumper with a dremel. The valance snaps into place. Add 4 clips and put it all back together. The Valance and parts were 146 and I got the axle backs for 300 shipped. Sounds very close to the 2012 GT500 but the sound is more refined and toned. Hard to explain. Sounds like boobs and beer at WOT. If anyone comes to the GTG tomorrow I'll be there.

I'll keep it like this for a while and maybe upgrade to magnaflows later on down the road. She needs a drop bad.

The Valance and parts were from Tousley. The axlebacks were a take off from a member on SVTP.
