Default Spring road rally to visit old cemeteries!

It's time for our spring drive, the Tulip Time Rally! We will take a tour of Collin County, a little bit of Fannin County, and visit a number of cemeteries. Course following will be easy. All roads are paved, except some short sections leading to and inside cemeteries. There you will drive a specific route on good hard-packed (usually graveled) roads at a slow speed, looking for clues.

Rally Day is Saturday, May 12. Registration opens at 9:00 am at Spring Creek Barbeque, 1993 N Central Expy, McKinney, TX 75071. The finish will be there as well. First car starts at 10:31 am.

You will be directed to a number of area cemeteries. At each you will answer questions from signs or tombstones that you can see from your car. You will get points for each correct answer...not all of which are obvious.

This is an SCCA GTA (Games, Tours, Adventures) rally. The course is about 90 miles on public roads at legal speeds. Any street-legal, four-wheel vehicle with at least two people aboard who can read may enter. The Rally Fee is $20.00 for SCCA Members, and $25.00 for non-members. There is a $5.00 late fee if you are not preregistered at MotorSport.reg.

Go to msreg.com/TTR18msr to preregister now. There are four classes: First Timer, Novice (<3 rally trophies), General, and Master (optional class: no trophies given). When you register at MotorsportReg.com, we will add you to the rally mailing list, so that we can send you the rally rules a few days before the event.

We had two Mustangs entered in our last rally.
