I picked this up for $1,000, its been a year now (12, 000miles) and knock on wood its still going.It really is a hit or miss with $1-2k beaters, most are lemons.

Kind of jealous about that. I know most people hate exploders, but if I could find something like that, I think it would be a steal, but not so much on gas.
