Yep known issue. I drained about a cup of water total from each. I called Borla and made sure this doesn't void the warranty.

yes the car accelerates to 100mph like it's nuthing now.. main reason i wanted it was because I eventually want to drag race the car and want to use slicks, I've seen pics of just 430 rwhp mustangs destroying the twopiece like a twig. Also got sick of hearing the clunk clunk B.S. everytime you changed gears or pushed in the clutch.. this is how the damn car should've came from the factory if you ask me.

Been wondering why manufacturers don't use single-piece DSs stock. Seems like it would be cheaper to build that but maybe they use the same drive shafts across multiple platforms is my guess.

The one piece with the CV joint costs more to manufacture and it transmits slightly more vibration from the chassis and engine. From what I've been told the pennypinching dept. at ford made the decision to give us clunky worthless 2 piece driveshafts..

Yea I drilled two holes into my mufflers as well and they peed clear water for a good 6-7 minutes..

They sound much louder now that the material has dried out.. Glad I read about them needing to be drilled..

Heres another BMR suspension mod I did this week.
Thier tubular radiator support /w sway bar mounts. (they said it took off 10lbs from the stock piece) I didnt have a scale but it sure felt closer to 12-14lbs lol

Only thing really left to buy suspension wise for the stang is the BMR K member and the tubular a-arms.. Probably start saving for those soon as i get rid of these damn stock rims and tires..

You have spared no expense! I bet the ride is ridiculous. Talk about performance!

My only quibble is that people who purchase a $1200 Borla exhaust system shouldn't have to drill holes in the exhaust. Borla needs to fix that.

that was my thoughts also.. and the mufflers wherent even polished stainless either.. thats a bit much imo if they dont even give you polished mufflers, otherwise the kit imo shouldnt have been more than 750-800 bucks..

Finally got rid of the stock POS pirelli P-zeros and OEM rims!! I found a deal on one of the Forums on a brand new set of Forgestar CF-5's Way too good to pass up.. 2,300 bucks with Brand new Tires and rims that where never evenm mounted on his mustang :) These tires and rims easily retail for 3,700 bucks with tires and TPMS monitors and locking lugnuts.
God I love the look, looks SICK..
Specs of the tires and rims are:
20x9" Front with Michelin Pilot super sport 265/35ZR/20
20X11" Rear with Michelin Pilot super sport 285/35ZR/20

LOL even with as awful as they have been since the 90's I still love them.. Just wish jerry jones would step down and let a real manager manage the team. We might actually start winning again..

Wheels and tires look great. Definitely a good match for the car color.

Ford isn't the only company that does that.

Either way, your car is killer. What's next?
