IVe killed a M3, modded ss, and ran door to door with a intake, exhaust pulley terminator.

I have a guy with a 335i that thinks he is fast so we will have to see about that

Took one from a dig easing off the line.

Black_5.0 09-06-2013 05:23 PM

My wife works with him and said he would need a driver mod to even keep up :driver:

335i can be quick especially if its the twin turbo version.

Black_5.0 09-06-2013 08:43 PM

It is a twin turbo but like I said the kid can't drive it

I am interested in seeing if that new Cuda that SRT is coming out with has anymore power than the Challenger. I will test the poor guy that is of course after I get my Cobra jet intake with new throttle body and tune. I dare not look foolish when taking the trash out.

Black_5.0 09-06-2013 10:36 PM

My best friend just walked all over a challenger in his 2012 gt like 3 days ago... The wife loves cudas

Yeah. I haven't officially ran one but there was an older 6.1 srt challenger trying to jack with me on the way to my gf's place and two different times I dropped it down to 4th at around 70. I left the guy both times. Lol.

YEah the 392 is pretty peppy.

Oxford14Stang 09-07-2013 05:45 PM

Last night out a NorthStar we had Nathan Cho from the Facebook page I'm not sure if any of you know him. He had a fully bolted on 14' Auto performance package 3.7v6 stang and traded it for a 14' auto 5.0 like three days ago and we swapped out the stock mufflers for 12' GT500 mufflers(not like theres really any hp gains in mufflers) and he ran a tuned/cai 09' SRT8(392) Challenger auto and beat him. They both ran a 8.7 but the difference is the 5.0 was stock lol. Nate was consistent 8.6s-8.7s with less than 300 miles on the clock

garner 09-07-2013 05:54 PM

09 is 6.1 not 392. 392 is 11+

My bad... someone at the track said 392 so I was like does that mean it's a SRT8? lol, I'm not a mopar guy. I'd rather drive no car than a mopar. but yes, it was a 6.1 I saw under the hood. either way, it's a dodge :D

The 392s are 6.4 liters (392/61).

garner 09-07-2013 06:34 PM

Lol

392's are slow. Period. Haven't found one yet that could hang with the 5.0, even when it was still n/a.

Yeah, I am really bothered by how powerful yet slow they are. If I were Jay Leno rich, I'd still have a 392 Challenger though. I know plenty of people here are headstrong about Fords but, other companies build fast cars too :)

A Viper would eat and spit out anything Ford is building right now. Just sayin.

Actually the Shelby is about the same level of performance. Plus the viper cost what? Double?

No doubt. That Viper held the record at Nordschleife with a 7:12:13. Faster than a ZR1, GTR and a Ford GT lol but a Mustang is faster lol. Wow.

http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/nordschleife.html

Strait line performance, every test I've seen to date has a Viper accelerating faster than a GT500. I guess he means a Mustang is faster to decline in resale value than a Viper.

03MachMe 09-10-2013 06:24 PM

we really comparing a two seater purpose build sports car to a four seater mustang? thats like comparing apples to dog shit...... the Viper is a superior car in every way. and at almost double the cost I would expect it to be. If I had the money I would have a Viper no doubt about it but that has been my dream car since I was a kid and the first Viper came out. I love Shelbys and mustangs dont get me wrong, but its no viper...

So even though the Viper slaughters the Mustang in every conceivable way, the Mustang is better because it's cheaper lol? Okayyyyyy.

there is no doubt the shelby is one of the best bang for your buck cars out right now but its still nothing close to a viper. If you want to go with that argument buy a base model GT and use the extra $30k in mods and smoke both cars in everything.

blownaltered 09-10-2013 07:42 PM

viper > Shelby any day of the week. I've always wanted a viper but I've always been to broke or to damn cheap.

That's exactly what i would do, but they were comparing the two.

I'm not saying the viper didn't preform better. But certainly doesn't "slaughter" it, and it most certainly isn't 50k better.

Gt500 coupe starts at 55k and the viper is nearly double. No thanks. Especially since I'm a straight line guy.

Slowstang1_jgw 09-12-2013 03:41 PM

Viper is not kid friendly so I'm out.

Black_5.0 09-12-2013 06:40 PM

Yea I love vipers but I have to agree they aren't very family friendly but hell mustangs are real roomy either

garner 09-12-2013 09:50 PM

Vipers are kid friendly if you have 1 kid lol

Oxford14Stang 09-14-2013 04:42 PM

What is this, DFWSRT10.com????? it's a damn Fiat!!!! it's a piece lol

Bacadiesel 09-16-2013 01:57 AM

I once killed a mazdaspeed turbo. I killed it bad.

Black_5.0 09-17-2013 02:10 AM

Well I just got home from "Mexico" where I had some fun running against a modded lexus is350 sport and surprised the hell out of him and his words were "how the hell did I get beat by a mustang" lol :ROFLJest: then he asked how much I was spraying and i just laughed and let him look under the hood to prove I'm all stock and he said he must need his tune looked at lol... This guy was a sore loser with a lexus full of excuses... Well that is all ;)
