It's too early for me to get into detail of my car in this thread.

Jeff is a hack cranker who can't get it done without stripped backends.

lmao. I bet Jeff is the only other person who gets it.

I know that's some sort of bowling talk, but it sounds dirty. Haha

That's pretty much the shot out here at Nationals. It's 41 feet with dry back ends and then single and doubles is 39 feet long. Talk about a lot of over/under out here. But I haven't bowled yet that's just what I've seen so far.

Until you get all the hacks trying to play deep tearing up the heads creating a spotty reverse block. By the end of the set you'll find yourself standing all the way left pitching it over the ditch just to find a spot. I hated Nationals because of that shit. Having to play that deep I always end up hanging the corners. Hopefully you can cash decently and make some up for it in the brackets.

Well enough with the bowling talk. Lets get back to car stuff.

We could have made a few changes to make over 500 rwhp n/a but it would not have been safe to spray the nitrous. Also on another note, we dynoed a car recently that had wheels similar to jeffs wheels. The car made 408 rwhp, we put a set of stock wheels and tires we had at the shop on the rear, and the car made 428 rwhp with NOTHING else changed!!! Just goes to show how much "power" you lose with heavy wheels and tires, hince the variation in ''dyno'' numbers you will see.

Jeffs car is a beast for what it is, anyone that disagrees, has no idea what they are talking about. 479 hp to the tires with approx 20% power loss to the tires put him around 574 hp to the flywheel. That is 1.824 hp per ci. That is a huge amount of power I don't care what anyone says!!!

Great post about wheel weight and how they affect the car. That why I'm tryna stay stock 18's or at least stock weight

Wow I didn't realize wheel weight could make that big a difference! I'm shopping around for some 20s right now but can't find anything on weight. Is there a thread about popular wheels and their weight?

One of the 5.0 mags had an article about it. They put Weld RTS' on the front and lost a tenth with no other changes

Makes sense I just don't want to be running around town looking like I'm driving to the track lol. I'm looking at the style wheel every other 5.0 owner has on there car the Avant Garde M310s or something similar. Again just don't know how much the 20s weigh?
