Ah, weather makes sense, I hardly pay attention to the weather while I'm over here, just figured it might be nice by now. Sucks that the first chance I get to hit the track again will be in June/July, it's too damn hot by then.

Were you trying to do your burnout in first? And who was the one with the "back and forth" burnout?

Midnight11 03-25-2013 02:30 PM

I started in second I just suck. I think I had it started once but let it go too soon

LOL, talk all the smack you like. Your drag radials were cold because you can't do a burnout. I had no problems getting mine hot, I just couldn't hit the gear, so we both suck! lol. It was the first time to the track with this car and the first time I had ever turned off the traction control on the damn thing. I only raced it ONCE before doing a short pull against Donnie. Up to that point I've never done any racing in the car, just been cruising it.

Put your every day street tires back on and let's line them up. I'll be glad to bust my foot off in your ass. :pepper:

Midnight11 03-25-2013 02:56 PM

Do you want to start out in 4th gear?

Midnight11 03-25-2013 03:07 PM

Midnight11 03-25-2013 03:14 PM

I will admit I don't know how to heel/toe. Someone have any videos or want to show me how?

Left foot on the clutch like usual. With your right foot you turn it partially sideways using your ball of your foot pressing the brake down all the way then use your heel on the gas to get the RPMs up. Second gear, wait for a good amount of smoke then slowly let off the brake.

There was a LOT of people doing burnouts IN the water box which you shouldnt do. Just roll back into the water to get them wet then move forward in the rubber groove to do the burnout. After your burnout move forward to the bulbs to line up. DO NOT do a dry hop after your burn out.

Here's a fun fact.........Steve lost to Nic. Lmao:owned::wtg:

He only won I missed, not because he's faster :

Race 1 -

R/T - Nic - .249 me - .547
60 ft - Nic - 2.015 me - 1.92
330ft - Nic - 5.640 me - 5.396
1/8th - Nic - 8.499 me - 8.146
MPH - Nic - 87.82 me - 89.81
1000ft - NIc - 10.915 me- 10.703

1/4 - Nic - 12.91 @ 113.34 me - 13.417 @ 75mph

Race 2-

R/T - nic - .140 me - .396 (he tree'd the shit out of me! lol)
60ft - Nic - 1.953 me 1.909
330ft - nic 5.398 me - 5.286
1/8- nic - 8.167 me- 8.051
MPH - nic - 88.97 me - 89.66
1000- 10.533 me- 10.490
1/4- 12.506 @114.21 me - 12.559 @109.74

As you can see, he beat me off the line every time, then I would reel him back, pass him and I'd miss a gear and he would barely squeak by. You can tell my MPH was way off at the 1/4 mark vs where I was faster at the 1/8th every time. It was fun close racing. If I hit the gear I can give him a much better race. I think it's pretty cool since he has so much more done that I do. :)

Midnight11 03-25-2013 05:51 PM

I have the boss intake. On suspension that's not setup for drag. Sorry u come up with every excuse and u can't hit the easiest gear known to man

Phuck Phace 03-25-2013 06:02 PM

You have the Boss, CAI and a shifter over me. I admitted it, I sucked. /but the numbers dont lie. You didnt win because youhave the faster car but rather cuz I couldnt hit the gear at the end. I raped you through 1000ft. :headbang:

Midnight11 03-25-2013 06:06 PM

You sound like Paul walker on fast and furious. "I so had you bro"

Get out of here with that shit. Once I got the traction control figured out my last two burn outs the car didn't even wiggle during the burn out. Or do I not count like Danny?
