I'm sure it will be great! Can't wait to see your first review driving it tuned. :)

Just 2 little short pulls so far. It wants FUEL! Lol!

Grandpa 05-06-2013 05:01 PM

Updates?

Doug1227 05-06-2013 06:13 PM

I'll post the graph when HPP emails it to me, but the final result was ~600/500 on a 3.75" pulley. Boost would flash to 8 then climb to around 11. Manny was cutting the runs off at 7000 and kept it pretty conservative. I think it would have made at least 25 more if he took it to 7500. Should be fun. I've got to wire up the aeroforce map sensor so I can see boost. I rigged up a mechanical gauge just for the dyno. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I have to keep reminding myself that these numbers are through an auto, not a manual like most others I see. I got to wrench on the car a little more than I planned on since we changed to a different plug after we got to 560rwhp. We went a little colder and less gap. I can't wait to get it to the track to see how it does. Honestly, it doesn't feel THAT fast to me, but I know it makes 225rwhp more now than it did when it ran 12.3's, so I'd have to think it should fly at the track. We'll see!

Your car will be fun to drive and yeah shutting it down at 7k took away some power. You would had been well above 600 rwhp if rev to 7500-7700.

Grandpa 05-06-2013 06:36 PM

There is several auto guys out there making less than 600rw but still running very low 10's. With the auto is won't shock the tires as much and won't feel as violent/fast, but it's no doubt going to be fast and more consistant! Congrats, Doug!

You have tons of room to grow with that blower though. The torque alone makes it worth it!

I got the MT's mounted up today.... I'll see how it hooks on the street this week!

I've been wanting to get the back of my car to sit a little bit lower, so I pulled the trigger on some Eibach Sportlines this week. Here's an after pic. Car's dirty, but you get the point.

Looks good

Doug1227 07-28-2013 01:01 AM

Still having some shifting issues. Losing .4 banging off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. BUT, it does sound pretty cool in the video! :)
