LOL. I was the only one doing heel/toe burnouts without the car moving. Everyone else was doing it John Force style. Well, except for Nick who couldn't figure out how to do a burnout. lmao.

I was thinking the same thing. You can probably get a 2-step for about the same price, that would be more helpful than a line lock.

From the videos it looked like burnouts were a big problem. Makes sense that Nic's 60' was so bad with drag radials, gotta heat those things up. I always did my burnouts in second, better wheel speed and easy to hold.

In all seriousness without any ball breaking, it wasn't the greatest night for racing. The pavement was cold and it was misting on and off. We practically had the track all to ourselves and it was fun even with the less than optimal conditions. In warmer weather, everyone would be running a couple of tenths faster at least.

As for the burnouts, I'm the same. Always in second gear using the heel/toe method. No line lock needed.

First manual car also I'm not making excuses too I suck at them . So on cold drag radials I still beat Steve. Guess that says alot of his driving skills lol ;)

Ah, weather makes sense, I hardly pay attention to the weather while I'm over here, just figured it might be nice by now. Sucks that the first chance I get to hit the track again will be in June/July, it's too damn hot by then.

Were you trying to do your burnout in first? And who was the one with the "back and forth" burnout?

Midnight11 03-25-2013 02:30 PM

I started in second I just suck. I think I had it started once but let it go too soon

LOL, talk all the smack you like. Your drag radials were cold because you can't do a burnout. I had no problems getting mine hot, I just couldn't hit the gear, so we both suck! lol. It was the first time to the track with this car and the first time I had ever turned off the traction control on the damn thing. I only raced it ONCE before doing a short pull against Donnie. Up to that point I've never done any racing in the car, just been cruising it.

Put your every day street tires back on and let's line them up. I'll be glad to bust my foot off in your ass. :pepper:

I will admit I don't know how to heel/toe. Someone have any videos or want to show me how?
