Thats because all the sorta fast and really fast cars owner's are too scared to race anymore for fear of losing.:jester:

when I met Will, didnt know him from ANYONE, he shook my hand and said "you wanna race?" I said "race what?" He points at a stock looking Gixxer 1K and I said "lets do it." I didnt go oh, well shoot, I might lose, or what's done to it, or man I dunno, how fast have you gone etc. Didnt care. Not enough "dont care" these days. Cars cost too much I guess no one wants to regret wasting all their money and getting beat.

To add to that, I think a lot of the old schoolers are tired of breaking shit and their cars being down all the time. It's nice to have a slower car that starts everytime you want it to and not have to worry everytime you step on the gas if its going to break or not. Throwing that money away gets old after awhile.

I totally agree with that as well... That said, my car has been down more than ANYone's and when it's running, I will be out having fun with it... win or lose. Prob more lose than win, but it will be fun trying!

I think you should plan on putting an auto in that thing. Because by the time you finally get it back on the road you're going to be too old to row gears. :poker:

haha very funny. I can still shift (better than when it ran even), so Im fairly confident I wont forget how or lose my ability in the next year or so.

Besides, Ill have plenty of practice here soon with the vert running. :)

Feldman has to ride with you when we race. :favorites37:

My car hasn't stopped working yet, even with the racing... Then again im not launching the MT82 or power shifting (Beau) haha. On a side note, it was stupid of me to race that c6z, i have til June 10th to not get another traffic ticket and i dont really want to pay the double fine if i do. Ill prolly be out there tomorrow as a spectator.

Phuck Phace 05-23-2013 05:51 PM

Last races ended up with the police coming out.

Wasn't that from racing down the same stretch of road for miles?

I've had that meet there like the last 7 years and never had a problem with cops. You hooligans show up and look what happens. lol.

It will be fine fellas. Just come on out to have fun and hang out.

Junkie 05-23-2013 06:37 PM

NEVER had a police issue at this meet and I've been organizing and racing from it for 6-7 years

maybe not all go out at once to race. 2-3 cars max. when you roll ten deep it tends to draw attention.

You mean north toll from 121 to 380 and all the way back to pgbt? ... Nope ... Cops pulled us over as we hit the exit on coit on pgbt.... Where most of us where doing the speed limit and NOT racing ... Which is why no one got racing tickets .. No street racing happened last Friday
