Thanks! SEMA was a lot of fun, first time to go for me. Love the dog, too bad I cannot say that's where we got it from, it would be a good story if it was.:head3:

grabberblue50 12-04-2012 10:36 AM

the wheels are awful sorry makes it look like one of the goofy ricers

kanetrain 12-05-2012 02:33 PM

Not a big fan of the wheels either, they clash. But the stripe on the hood I actually like.

merlinmol 12-05-2012 02:43 PM

Unfortunately pics just don't do it justice, its almost a must see in person. However, I understand that its not for everyone.

kanetrain 12-05-2012 06:14 PM

Yeah I could see them looking better in person, the wheel design is really nice, and the offset is perfect.

46Tbird 12-06-2012 03:42 PM

Dont sweat it, the wheels are bad ass. Great choice. They look good on the car and they're distinctive, just what you want at SEMA.

Jucostud 12-07-2012 11:51 PM

wheels are pretty sick in person. forgelines with michelin pilot supersports = killer!

Damn, those wheels really are THAT copper. It looks good though. And as much as I'm against decals, that is actually a subtle spot to put them...

Too bad the sun didn't come out til later, the wheels are retarded when it is out. Honestly, I've been too lazy to take the decals off, plus our sponsors were awesome so I do not mind sporting them for a bit longer.

I am very curious to how Steve got a pic if he wasn't there this weekend haha :banghead:

DirtyD 01-07-2013 10:56 AM

Looks like he hotlinked from Mike's Flickr Photostream. :p

I wanna see your rear end in person. :D

merlinmol 01-07-2013 11:05 AM

Wow, he sure did take a lot of shots of her too, I like his work.

I was really bummed by the amount of overcast this weekend also. The wheels are awesome and the color is amazing.

Here are a couple from last month and some more from this month.

I thought about trying it with some flat clear plastidip. See how it looks.

I know plastidip is removable, but i'd be careful, those rear tailights on the 13's are stupid expensive.

merlinmol 01-08-2013 12:45 AM

Anyone else enjoy Mike M's photos, I was looking at the set from this weekend and he does a pretty darn good job considering it was cloudy and cold.

Yeah, that's an understatement. Haha

If prepped right, and applied thick enough, if will peel right off. Just like my chin spoiler is already doing. :wall:

Scrape it too many times or is it coming off on its own?

Thanks for the pics, always nice to see some of the events, evidently I missed several cool cars out there, especially that VW Beetle with the cool paint job on it.

DirtyD 01-08-2013 09:47 PM

Well the area that I scrape are forcefully peeled. It randomly started peeling on the sides...

I forgot about those panning shots. I'm glad you like it.

I'll be at Cars and Coffee on Saturday. For anyone who will be going, post a shot of your car and I'll try to get a few shots at the show.
