Midnight11 01-08-2013 09:52 PM

^yup

jarheadtex 01-08-2013 09:53 PM

Midnight11 01-08-2013 09:57 PM

ill make one tomorrow. but it sounds awesome

DirtyD 01-08-2013 10:16 PM

Don't break or lose my GoPro. Then you have to buy me a Hero3. :p

jarheadtex 01-08-2013 10:25 PM

hmmm... Think I might go with Boss/CAI and h-pipe. I just looked at the H/X comparison over on svtp....interesting.

Grandpa 01-08-2013 11:06 PM

I went with the Lethal H pipe because I prefer that sound. I'll make up for the 4hp I will lose not going with the X with boost. lol.

jarheadtex 01-08-2013 11:40 PM

Well 4 HP is trivial. I like the hpipe note. Thats what I had on my 2000gt and mach1.

jarheadtex 01-09-2013 09:26 AM

I am thinking about bama. I dont know of anyone tuning the 5.0 in my area.

pohnjarker 01-09-2013 10:11 AM

if you're going mail order, i'd recommend AED. Shaun is the man!!

jayman33 01-09-2013 02:07 PM

If you're gonna dyno don't forget about true street. Mail order I'd look into Lund or AED.

Ive run Bama, AED, VMP, and been dyno tuned by True Street you really cant go wrong with either. Its more or less what works best for your situation.

Dyno tune is always a plus because you get what no email tuning offers, in person knowledge and experience from said tuner plus an included graph for your ego :). Only downside is this is usually the more expensive way to go.

Email tuning is great with the right company and is a cheaper option, but unsafe when logging high speed pulls to send back to your tuner with each revision. With that said you have to understand your tuners situation, hes not there to scout or diagnose any possible issues your car may have, he is simply looking at a log so it would be on you report back findings. Its could take 2-3 days of back and forth before you have a completed tune.

I'll 2nd, 3rd or whatever Shaun at AED. I just finishe up my tunes with him. Pretty basic car...lethal o/r H, GT500 axle back, and E85. I put down 431 rwhp / 409 tq. This car screams now.

I had a BAMA tune. Car never ran right. I spent 8+ weeks and probably 20 tunes with them, and it never ran good. Finally took it to a local place and in an hour it was perfect.

Its hit and miss sometimes i guess.

My first tune in my 11 was through Bama, i had no problems and the car was quite the dyno queen.

unreal 01-16-2013 07:13 PM

Motor ran ok but the tranny wouldn't shift. If you have a manual they maybe ok but their tranny stuff sucked.

jarheadtex 01-17-2013 05:04 PM

Ill see how mine does this weekend when I get everything installed.
