I have been reading over these forums for a couple of days now and this is the exactly what i have been looking for. With the mustang's long history, it has been very difficult finding a site/club with just the newer mustang generations. But i'm here now and that's all that matters! Thanks Tim for the referral!

I have been a performance enthusiast for as long as i can remember. I did a bit of drag racing back around 03-05 with my mod'd Sonic Blue Lightning. Eventhough the Lightning was a blast to mod, race and drive, it was the club that made it all worth while. I'm relatively new to the mustang mod world, but learning is the fun part, as long as peeps are willing to share their experiences. With the mustang this time around, I plan to do some drag racing, but i really want to try the road racing or autocross type tracks for sure.
I am planning to hit the Denton drag strip this Friday(NorthStar Dragway TNT). If you see a Gotta Have It Green 2013, it might be me!

I have been looking through all the threads in the events area and the calendar, but am not having any luck determining when and where the next GTG will be. Anyone want to give me the lowdown on the general schedule?

We don't have a set schedule yet. We're still a new board and growing our member base pretty steadily. In 2013 I will have a schedule of events in the local and national area that I will post up. In addition to that, there will be a monthly regular GTG at a different spot every month around the metroplex area so that it's fair for everyone.

So, for the rest of 2012 we're going to fly by the seat of our pants and I will post stuff as it comes up.


This coming weekend is the big Forest Lane Cruise Halloween edition on Saturday night. I highly reccomend hitting that up. It's always got a bunch of badass cars all over the place!

Also, if you guys want to do something, just let me know and I will plan it out!
