She said it was low impact running..

She may want to rethink that statement. lol

Idiots.

That's what treadmills are for.

If it's raining or under 60 I don't run outside. Period.

JDMLOL 02-13-2014 08:33 PM

Lol. I'd say running in weather between 35 and 50 feels the best. No heavy sweating or anything and the body stays cool but not cold. Treadmills suck. Running in place for 25-45 minutes? No thanks.

I use it when I don't want to get wet or be cold.

I like sweating when I run, feels like I'm doing something.

Not much better than an 8-10 mile run in 80 degree weather.

Do you put the cuffs on extra tight when someone makes you run after them? Lol

Not many people run now that we got tazers

I love running. As long as I can balance it with p90x well enough I'll stay fit and slim but in great shape.

Pat McCrotch 02-13-2014 11:07 PM

I haven't run since 1995 when I got out of the army, but when I was in the army, in Fairbanks Alaska, we ran outside every day that it was warmer than -20..

rriddle3 02-14-2014 12:17 AM

I quit jogging because the ice cubes kept sloshing out of my glass.

GTOphil 02-14-2014 12:26 AM

You guys are missing out. 8-10 miles of music, peace and quiet, no phone calls, no wife, just you and the road.

Heck, since you put it like that, I do 30-60 miles a day. In the Mustang.

I enjoy a good run as well. Always been a runner since I was a kid. In my prime in High School my best 5k time was 16:30 and could do a 4:30 mile. Not so much anymore these days but I still enjoy it.

You won't see me running in this kind of weather though, don't feel like breaking my back like that girl nearly did.
