longtubes or o/r X

So ive seen alot of people saying that you dont get alot of gain from longtubes over just a offroad X. Anyone have a offroad X then replace with longtubes with a dyno run on each to see the difference?

I made around 19 more HP with long tubes using Kind for both setups.

I ve run both setups but i dont have back to back dynos to back up specific gains. I can only tell you my header car picked up more low end and mid-range power over an o/r setup.

X-pipe and nitrous? Still cheaper than headers!

I feel like longtubes benifit the powerband more than the total horsepower it adds.

I think my 03 only picked up like 8 - 10 rwhp from going longtubes but man felt like it helped my car breathe better up top. 3rd gear felt better.. Could have been in my head though

this, people get hung up on peak numbers. its the power thats made throughout the curve that makes them worth it.
