Seeing all these awesome pics really makes me realize I need to get out and shoot more. Got any zoo pics? I would like to give that a try some time...

No zoo ones yet, actually we haven't even been to the zoos in texas and I've been here for almost 3 years now. Which one is better to go to fort worth or dallas?

Buying and Selling Camera Gear and Lenses Online
craigslist can render some good deals, but you need to INSPECT everything very thoroughly in person.
check the glass for cracks, chips, spots, pits
check to ensure the autofocus works
check to ensure the manual focus works
check to ensure the manual zoom adjustment in and out works
check for excessive dust, dirt, wear and tear
ALWAYS put the lens on the camera and take a few shots. upload it to a laptop and view the results. study your pictures carefully. don't be afraid to say no. don't be afraid to negotiate the price down.
if you're not confident...have the seller meet you at a local camera/photography shop and have someone at the shop inspect it for you and test it so you don't get hosed.
I'd recommend AGAINST buying from people on forums. Even if you buy through paypal, it's not 100% guaranteed. And definitely DON'T EVER sell a lens online and have the transaction go through PAYPAL. I've already been hosed for $1,100.

I just have to ask, do you catch most in the shot or do you photoshop a lot?

I catch as much as possible on camera, these last ones I just posted I just changed them to black and white and filled a little of the shadows in the wheels. The reflection was there the lens flares were from the sun just before it went down.
