Congrats! I cant wait to get my vortech on in june!!
Whats the actual tech differences (other than max power potential) between the v3 si and paxton anyways? I haven't found a compressor map for the novi so chose the v3 in hopes the smaller unit will spool up faster at lower rpm for DD torque.

"the Paxton is a larger head unit
v3 makes about 700 max hp rw, and the Paxton can get right around 1000"

The Vortech equivilant to the Paxton 2200sl is the Vortech JT trim. The V3 refered to above will not spool quicker because its smaller, just flows less air. The V3 is an entry level blower not meant to make big power of any kind.

So the JT compressor map should be identical to the 2200sl? I don't plan on running anymore than 650rwhp and was hoping for greater efficientcy for my hp range.. hmm Did I just shaft myself?

I found this a while ago. At 1150cfm its pumping out a good chunk but shy of the novi/jt 1450..

Beef told me it will spool up faster and I assumed that meant power earlier but I guess if the propeller is that much smaller its a wash?

Yes, the JT is the same as the 2200.

Default Paxton NOVI 2200

It looks great chilling in my trunk! Lol! I need to install it. I bought a SCT Tuner, just have to put the cai on. I was hoping to buy some more parts and install them all at once but that plan failed so I just need to install the cai and keep my eye out on parts! Should install it this week though, I bought the plug for the firewall as well.
