Default Kenne Bell ?

does this look like a real 03-04 kenne bell supercharger? ive noticed some of them have shorter snouts. really wanna buy this but i want to be for sure.

Yeah, but I'm not sure if the chrome/polish is factory. The pulley is definitely not a KB piece. They used to serialize them and you could call KB and get the manufacture date, etc. Not sure if they still do that.

Yes, it's real. It's the 2.2 "Blowzilla", i.e. the first aftermarket blower for the Cobra.

They no longer manufacture it. It's small, and inefficient, generates a lot of heat and I think the 2.2 needs the catch can too. That pulley is also not OE, looks like a home drill setup. The price just seems too high to me for that setup. You shouldn't pay more than $2,300, even with the TB

hold out for a 2.8 or a 2.3 or 2.9 whipple...I had a 2.3 on my 03...she ran GOOD....

damn i knew somethin didnt look right. yea id like to get a 2.8 but thats more then what i want. im just wanting to stick around 650 to 700 and ill be happy!

With a Whipple 2.3 or KB 2.2, you'd almost certainly need E85 to hit 700 wheel, and you'd be spinning that blower to the moon. With a Whipple 2.9 or KB 2.8 you'd be right in the money spot as far as blower efficiency for 700 wheel.
