I'll be back in something later. Truck is just the better choice for me right now. With 2 dogs and kids in the near future just seems like the right thing to do.

Don't blame you. I'm hoping to find a 2002-2003 Supercrew this summer/fall in prep for family down the road.

That's what I'm looking at. Drove a new Chevy today though and man it was nice. Made the decision a little tougher.

EcoBoost is faster, has a bigger backseat, has more torque and gets the same gas mileage regardless what Chevy will say about "Fords little V6 only getting 22."

We get 23 on the highway @ 70 and have gotten 24 @ 60. Not an average, just wide open highway travel.

Average over the last 15k miles on ours is sitting at 18 with plenty of in town driving.

This is my second F150. But my parents have had them when I was growing up. I wouldn't go Chevy lol. I've had Chevys and one dodge truck. Never again lol. The ecoboost is awesome.

If you don't haul or tow a trailer or anything often, I would honestly get the 5.0.

Why? EcoBoost is faster and has amazing potential with tunes and stuff. Plus slightly higher mpg.

Just V8 sound?

My 12 F150 was a 5.0 and was a great truck. I like my 14 Ecoboost a lot more.

5.0 can get the same MPG. The TQ of the EB is great, but I wouldn't have one if I didn't tow very often with it. Not to mention simple mods to the 5.0 are cheaper than the EB.

And V8. Lol
